Opening night for the newest Splatter output movie  “Violent Shit 4.0” from the horror producer team Andreas Schnaas & Timo Rose is the 14.05.2010 at the Metropolis Cinema in Hamburg.

Not Fragile appear in the film as a gang and contribute one new song for the soundtrack called “Zombie dance” together with guest singer, producer Andreas Schnaas himself.

Who dares wins was the first proper album from Not Fragile released in 1988.

Not Fragile will appear with a guest performance as a gang in a horror/splatter movie, produced by Timo Rose & Andreas Schnaas.
Filming began at Sep. 11^th. The band contributes also one new song for the soundtrack of this “bloody splatter”!

Between the works for the new Not Fragile album, the band recorded the rare classic track “Extermination day” from the NWOBHM legend Angel Witch,
for a tribute album. The release for this compilation is scheduled for the end of summer 2007.

Not Fragile has finished the recordings and the mix for the new album.

The final mastering will be follow in these days.

At the end the release with the title “Scratch the surface” is scheduled for the beginning of June 2007. Like the other Hellion Records products, the new CD comes with a regular 16 pages full coloured booklet naturally with a great artwork and many pictures.

After several month of recording Not Fragile´s studio engineer Jan Kirchner is now very busy to do the final mix
for the new full length record. Two weeks ago the band had finished the whole recording with some lead
guitars and backing vocals. There were two special guests who arrived in the studio a few weeks ago.
At first there was Frank Nottelmann the original guitar player of Didy Mackels old legendary band “Mania”.
Frank plays two guitar solos on “Gods of fire”. It was a big wish from Didy that Not Fragile record this “Mania” track
from their debut album in “Wizard of the last kingdom” in a new updated version. Frank did a good job on
the lead guitar in his own genuine style. Great to hear!!! Another special guest on “Gods of fire” is Sascha Maurer
the singer from “Titan Steele” who did the choruses and backing vocals in this song and one other called “Holy man”.
He is a great character and a big friend of Not Fragile. It was big fun. The complete mix down maybe will be last
until March, but then………..Stay tuned for Not Fragile´s new album output called “Scratch the surface”

Not Fragile is confirmed for an „Angel Witch“tribute album.
The bands choose the rare track “Extermination day” from the NWOBHM legend.
Maybe, this one will be released on CD in autumn 2007. A vinyl release in “Brazil”only will be follow right after the CD.

Also confirmed is Not Fragile´s arrival at the “Queens of metal” open air festival in June 2007.

A word from Torsten!

The year 2006 was very difficult to Not Fragile.
The band struggled a little bit around between massive private problems and tragedies.
Many of them still take time to sort out and proof the bands spirit and friendship.
Now it is time to push forward with the recordings for the new album.

Thirteen tracks are recorded and we need the December ´06 to complete the album recording with some bass lines,
a few backing vocals and the lead guitars.
The final mixdown is scheduled for January 2007.
Also, please take a look to the picture section. There are many new pics from the last live dates.

Hi Folks!

After holiday Not Fragile are returning into the DA Da Sound studio to work together with studio engineer Jan Kirchner on their next album output. The drums are already finished for all 13 tracks. There is naturally a lot of fast double bass drumming and other powerful stuff as well recorded. Drummer Michael Link did a fantastic job on all the tracks.

This would be a great musically step for the band. Between the next gigs until November 2006, the band hopes to finish the whole recording. So, there is a good chance for the final mix down in December 2006 or January 2007.

A word from Torsten

We are still working on our next full length album at the DA DA Soundstudio.

We hope we can finish the recordings in November 2006.

Sorry for the delay, but sometimes you have some things to sort out in the recording process.

…And sometimes you need a little break from the studio work.

I can say that the basic tracks we have recorded really kick ass and it would be a big surprise for the people to hear the next album. Now we have to rehearse some parts of the new tracks, and then we go back into the studio in August 2006.

In these days Not Fragile Drummer Michael „Mitch“ Link is recording the first seven basic drum tracks for the next Not Fragile album at the DA DA Soundstudio.

Also, there is a new split vinyl “7 output called “In the sign of the aces” for fans and collectors on the Dream Evil Records label – Italy.

The first side is playing two Not Fragile tracks from their Yesterdays heroes’ album.

In this case the song “Immortal legions & the BCR cover version yesterday’s hero.

The B side featured the American band “Blazing Guns” with their song “1876 – an ode to the brave”.

Dear Folks!

The year 2005 was a good year for the band with some exciting events.

At first naturally the new album release “Time to wonder” with guest musicians like Jutta Weinhold & Mike Terrana.
Good reviews around the globe went on. There were some great live events for Not Fragile like the “Thrash ´til death” or
the “Metal bash” festivals. The band convinced also with their performances at their gigs with the Hellion Records American
label fellows “Intruder” and “Ruffians”, but the highlight was their “25 years anniversary show” at the “Headbangers Ballroom” in October 2005. The good reactions from the audience gave the band much power to work harder than ever before. In this case,
the band is now working on the pre-production for the next album.
So you the fans don’t have to wait for years for the next album output.

At least Not Fragile wishes all fans and friends around the globe a merry Christmas and a happy new year.

!!!!New Recordings!!!!!

Since the beginning of June the band is recording the first tracks for the next album.
The studio recordings at Jan Kirchners DA DA Soundstudio are going very well.

A few weeks ago, Mike Terrana, well known drummer from Rage, ARP and many others,
lend his amazing talent, to record a few tracks with Not Fragile.
These tracks will crush your heads….incredible………….but be a little patient!!!!!!!!!

Also, the bands new drummer, Michael Link did a very good job on
his first studio recordings with the band, a few days ago.

Now the band, got a little break from the studio and is currently working very hard for their
next gig at the Headbangers Ballroom in September 2004.

It takes more than three month but now Not Fragile´s new drummer is confirmed.
His name: Michael Link. More about him and new band photos, here in a few weeks.

The work for the Hellion Split EP is still in progress.
Not Fragile´s studio work is already done since a few weeks,
but “Ritual Steel” the other band on the record, got a little bit of
personal problems. We’re altogether looking forward for a realistic release in  July 2004.

In these days, Jan Kirchner (soundman from the DA DA Soundstudio) is very
busy with the “final mix” for the forthcoming “split maxi”on Hellion Records,
together with “Ritual Steel”.
This one includes two tracks of each band, both choose cover versions, in agreement with
“labelboss” Jürgen Hegewald.
Not Fragile press the pedal to the metal with Slade´s “Knuckle Sandwich Nancy” and
“Eye of the storm” from the NWoBHM legend – Sweet Savage.
Their famoust band member, was in their beginning, a guitar hero named “Vivian Campell”.
Ritual Steel does a cover from Malice called “Gods of thunder” and another classic one.
This record would be a very special release. In this case, only on coloured vinyl and very limited.

Not Fragile got one more good Review for their
“Yesterdays heroes” album in the January issue of the “Rock Hard” magazine.

 Not Fragile drummer Matthias Meßfeldt had to left the band after two years,
In the last weeks of December 03. Personal differences took the main reason.

Alcohol & drugs are definitely not involved.

At these moment Not Fragile is very busy to test some new drummer.

A word from Torsten :

Let me tell you a few things to start off with. To record this album was indeed
very special for us. Maybe some people would say “Not Fragile” haven´t got
any ideas for good own material, but actually: This is definitely not true.
This is to show the people some killer classic songs from a couple of great bands
and musicians who inspired “Not Fragile” up to the recent days.
You will find that we also put some of our own new & classic tracks,
which we had released on records through the eightees, on this for us
really incredible album.
It´s an honour for us and we are very happy & proud to put these tracks
on one album, in our own genuine style. To see or better to hear,
that these songs written such a long time ago, could stand the test of time,
really thrill us.

The band finished their recordings for the new album.
Hellion Records got a rough mix last week,
and their boss Juergen Hegewald was very pleased with it.
Not a big surprise, because he selected the most of the tracklist together with the band.
He selected….? …….. .Yes, there are several cover tracks included, from
two of the most popular bands from the ´70. The name of the bands are:
Sweet & Slade. Both got more than a dozen of top10 hits douring the ´70 around europe.
It was a big challenge to put some of their classic tracks into the genuine Not Fragile style.
Also there are some Not Fragile re-recordings from their releases douring the ´80.
Naturally, new songs too. The album mix is starting in the end of january 03 at
Jan Kirchner´s DA DA Soundstudio. A track list will follow soon.

starting the recording for their new album.
Drummer Matthias is now very busy in the studio,
to record the drum tracks for eleven songs.
If all is getting really good, he is finishing his work on the
first two weeks in October 02. 

Many fans ask about the release on the new
Motörhead tribute sampler “Motörmorphösis 2”
which include a Not Fragile version of Motörheads
“Locomotive”. It was scheduled for summer 02, but
the latest infos, tell that the album is coming out in the
beginning of 2003. Watch out !

BAD NEWS!!!!!!

Markus Köhn, Not Fragile drum player since 1983 left the band
in good, to get more time for himself and for his own band “Copy Shop”.
He´s still forever a friend and the band wish him all the best for the future.

Keep on rocking-Markus´ !!!!!

Not Fragile is happy to present a new drummer, quickly after the break.
Ex-“Recklezz” and “Skullcrusher” drum player,
Matthias “Matte” Meßfeldt joined the band.

Dear fans and metalheads.

Many of you ask us about the German Festivals
like “Wacken and “Bang your head” festival.
I´m so sorry to tell you that we don´t play on these festivals
this year, because the new album is coming out,
on the end of july, when the festivals are done.
But I hope there is still a chance to play Wacken next year.
So enjoy our new album, it really rocks and it sounded good.

is ready to release. The recording is finished and the negotiations,
with the record label are going to be well done.
Maybe there are 12 tracks on the album, but our record label
